The Curzon event

Well Deb and I attended this and it was really good. I didn't dress up in the end due to having flu but I made myself go anyway. clutching my loyal bottle of Lucozade. Lots of people had dressed up and there was even a Papa Lazarou :-) Jeremy and his band appeared at around 10pm and were huddled in ...

Yes we saw it twice but didn't attempt to wait for him afterwards either time, thought it would be fairer to wait until the last night when he'd be relaxed and calm. He was in very good form :)

Chris aka Snowie is a friend from the Local Shop forum :D

The last night of "The Common Pursuit" -- 20th Jul

This was a fab night - I am so glad my friend Nicola managed to make it! The play was great - even better in a way because they seemed to be so at ease, what with it being the last one! Nicola was giggling a lot next to me, she really enjoyed it. During the interval Deb went off and came back to tel...

I did enjoy this, despite feeling slightly under the weather. Paul is such a nice guy - really down to earth and normal. He seemed to find the fact that I momentarily forgot how to spell my name amusing! Reece was his usual sweet and quiet self. I could see he looked fidgety and I asked him if he wa...

I'm hoping that he gets a good turnout - not massive so that he's overwhelmed but enough so that he knows people have an interest in the film and his work. I don't think we will be like that Alex - we know how hard these events are for Reece. I don't feel it's real grumpyness with him, more a coping...

To be honest I feel so sorry for him. It is wonderful to meet someone you admire so much but I reckon the edge is taken off when you know that they themselves are not enjoying the experience a jot. He has always been very nice to me when I've met him - not bouncy or OTT but we have to remember that ...

Not without Andy. Reece alone is no draw whatsover. Even Ellison would have got a crowd going. Sounds like it will be reece's worst nightmare. Even all three gents there last time was unremarkable. People are so stupid - true talent ignored. I think Reece would draw a more discerning type of DVD bu...

I saw this on Tuesday with GTJW and have to say that Reece has undertaken the role of Nick with great skill and it really felt like he's made it his own! The whole play was very good and the cast seemed very comfortable in their roles and with eachother already, so kudos to them all! Reece has Ross ...

That is so flattering Tara :D Thank you!

Heh! Yes, some of it had to go but not too much luckily. I didn't want to lose a load of the footage from the first version.

Highgate House of Horror -- in 90 seconds

I made a "quickie" version of HHoH for YouTube a few weeks back and I got an email from some Motorola PR man telling me he'd seen it and that he thought it would make a perfect entry for the Motorola DirectorMe competition (I did ask if it would be acceptable considering it was made by the League, a...
