Did I see the same programme as you lot? I found it meagre, and utterly derivitive. The door knocker story was the last story from "From beyond the Grave", replacing a knocker for the door to the blue room. Disappointed. Much has been made of it being filmed in a short space of time. I thought it sh...

Fan section of book?

How does the book evaluate the Gents and their wariness/hatred of their fans? Is is touched upon - or being one himself, does the author put rose-tinted specs on it? I know they have had mainly bad experiences with over familiar individuals who have crossed the line as far of personal space is conce...

Dead Set

I found it all too familiar i'm afraid. Done well - if all a bit choppy with the endless restless camera syndrome - but ultimately haven't we seen this a thousand times, just minus Davina and the less than attractive prospect of made - up "Big Brother "contestants? Brooker is a loather of reality TV...

A million times? Geoff, Lisgoe, Bobster? Not a million is it? He does it very well - GEOFF is an amazing transformation. I agree the film was willfully odd, but think for people who follow every sighting of an actor on TV, including posting when you think you've sighted him in the AUDIENCE of other ...

Harsh yes, but a little bit true, no? I don't say it frivolously - and in fact , now I HAVE put the spotlight on it, it may stop it from happening. Glad my attutude is loved by "serafina"... some people's glass is half full, some half empty. Me - I don't even have a glass.

Lets face it - it'll only be you lot going to go and report back how feeble it was, and what a shame it was and how grumpy HE was!

You'll have a job trying to catch him. He's faster than lightening when he goes. Does his best to avoid contact.

I've just spoke to Zavvi Oxford Street and according to this lady (called Jill), it is not happening. There has been some confusion over the event - 20th Century Fox, who are promoting the film knew nothing of this signing and feel it has not been publicised enough. If by some miracle enough interes...

Not without Andy. Reece alone is no draw whatsover. Even Ellison would have got a crowd going. Sounds like it will be reece's worst nightmare. Even all three gents there last time was unremarkable. People are so stupid - true talent ignored.

I really enjoyed the play - and I agree, it is a different role for Reece. he was very clever in how he made the character progress through the ages. I liked it because it wasn't over done. And yes he is unlikeable really - but he was made human by Reece I thought. James Dreyfuss was brilliant thoug...

Programmes

I saw this today. They ARE selling programmes - I got Reece to sign mine. He was quite charming about it. But he was dashing off ...had to be bold to stop him!

Although perhaps a little more sensitively, I would have edited out the rudeness. After all, there are youngsters on here!

I considered it - but reading through, there is far worse on here.

Kind of a spotted...

Found this on "Holymoly" website... "Spotted at a pub in London Bridge the other night: British actors James Dreyfus, Reece Shearsmith and Nigel Harman knocking back shot after shot. We aren't sure who drove Nigel's motorbike home though... it CAN'T have been him! A mole who knows about penises tell...

Here here!

I am completely new - but want to expand on the comment about the Gents really working hard never to repeat themselves - or seemingly "sell-out". Think what you like about all their various series - collectively they have striven to change, evolve, get better - and never have they rested on their la...
