My friend, who isn't a huge Gents fan but has seen it a bit, was in a restaurant in London when Mark Gatiss walked past. My friend said "Hello" to him, thinking he knew him. Apparently Mark just looked blankly at him so my friend ran through all the options in his head before realising where he knew...

I wanna go!

I don't know what it is about sitting at work that makes me want to go to Hadfield and get drunk. Will it be like them days, with quizzes and certificates and karaoke?? :)

Yes, I know I went to the last one but that was with my boyfriend so that doesn't count.

After the Gents Nottingham show on Tuesday, my Dad got chatting to a man at the tram stop to whom he gave a cigarette. The man was obviously leathered and insisted on paying Dad for the fag. When my Dad wouldn't let him, he insisted on reading his palm (!). It was very much a League moment. Man: Let...

I've had about 5 posts now so am I technically a newbie? My name is, er, life_of_holly - purely because it's my Yahoo ID and I'm far to lazy to think of a new Gents related name that isn't taken. Maybe I could be Mark Sniffer or something? Anyway, I'm new here but not new to the Gents in the slighte...
