The live show is completly inspiring. I love every minute of it. I didn't think i found that level of toiletry humour funny but Steve Pemberton pulls it of with style as Herr Lipp. I love the Scot sketch. Pam Doove audition is so accurate to every uni audition i've been to, "what drew you to the text?" "the language mainly, very good imagery within the text and i'd like to meet her." It's soooo good. I get all the Hamlet jokes now after studying it for drama. But the best bit for is Legz Akimbo as i've just been studying Berkoff and everything they do in Naaarth is so true and accurate. I swear to God my drama teacher is getting us to act the exact replica of that play! and she's never even heard of the league of gentlemen.

Isn't that "the metre" - ie they rhythm or cadence of the text?

yes i think it is as A1 says - funny cos we did MEasure for Measure at my school and i was Isabella. But i did the speech a bit differently. less good than Pam.

and the joke about Caryl Churchill's Top Girls - another over-done piece for drama students.
