I really enjoyed the History of Horror. Loved the way Mark had to point out at the beginning of every episode that it's just about his own personal favourites. Bless! Some really interesting stuff in it as well. Not many films I hadn't seen, but that was hardly surprising. Never got around to watching the last episode, though, and it's not on iplayer anymore. Bah, I need to get a bit more prompt with this stuff!

Mark was interviewed by Mark Lawson this week. It is on the iplayer here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... rk_Gatiss/

He spoke about his family, the gents and his life. He said that he regrets ever The Sex life of the potato men. They showed lots of clips including this one of Mark in the sequel to Boon in 1993:)

Mark was very good in Inspector George Gently a few weeks back. He played the adoptive father of a baby who was kidnapped. His character's wife is Helen Baxendale. He has teh beard :D It's still on the bbciplayer.

Neither beard nor glasses doing anything for me! Not that I'm a Mark lover (in that way) anyway.

Proberly not a popular opinion but i prefer Mark to Reece. Fancy Reece, just not as much as i fancy Mark.

I very much enjoyed Mark's adaptation of The Tractate Middoth and his documentary about MR James. They are on the iplayer.
