Rudolf Rockers in leeds

Post by Cheeky Chezzy Woo » Sun Mar 25, 2007 9:38 pm

Just posted up on myspace:
Hey Kids.
The "hopelessly out of sync" Rudolf Rocker are playing a rare live gig in Leeds on Monday April 9th at Oporto on Call Lane.
It'd be groovy to see you all there.
Ciao for now.
Rocker, Rudolf.

I hope they do London at some stage. I'm always up for a good gig. I'd love to go to Leeds but must think of TEH 'BURGH in August

cool , well im only really planning on going if jeremy's there , isnt he the keyboard player ?so he should be shouldnt he ? i was going to see them ( coz im sure there'll b pretty good ) then if he hung around after i was going to ask him if there was anyway i could give him a copy of a script to look at ( not there and then obviously ) but if i passed it on to someone or gave him it there not in a pushy way of course but me and my friend are big fans of The League and would really appreciate any feedback or advice he might have for us- or would that be really rude ?

Yeah i might end up doing that but its just id given someone a script last year and they hadnt got back in touch so i asked his agent about it and i still havent heard anything so im just wondering how reliable pbh would with that sort of thing .
Dya think he'll b there then ? and should i buy tickets on the night or order some now , i cant seem to find much info about the venue

I think you're talking about the Gent's PR company, PBJ?

http://www.pbjmgt.co.uk/

Although Jeremy has two "agents" - one for his book writing, one for his TV/Film work. If you sent the script, and Jeremy got to read it, what would be your hope? Jeremy isn't generally a producer so probably couldn't get your script made anyway. Would it just be to get some advice on it/tightening it up?

A lot of stars have a policy of not reading unsolicited scripts that aren't from a known source. I'm not sure if Jeremy has though.

BTW - Jeremy is usually in Rudolph Rocker's live performance and plays keyboards and "computer". Sometimes on an ironing board. With a fag on... :)
