Why don't you like the show Gary??heh?heh?!?!?
I have my reasons...

Though you're right about most comedians being 'friends' with one another. It's easier for them to collaborate that way, and also never to lose their careers as well. See, if I became a sitcom writer/actor than I would have to be friends with this lot as well, amongst other new talent like Jimmy Carr (Who is an unfunny p***k) and the like...

I quite like Jimmy Carr; although, he is trying rather too hard to be the new Jack Dee...

That is true...

That's why I don't like the pretentious up-start.

yeah i remember that.....there was also one where they were in their kitchen making toast and listening to the radio, on which there was a news type feature about how black and white minstrels were politically incorrect and unfunny...they looked at each other, turned the radio over to a channel playing al jolson, then started doing "mammy" jazz-hands dancing....
they're too glitzy, sequined and scrubbed up to qualify for papa status though.... [-X

Yes there are good friends. Matt and David worked with Mark, Steve and Reece in 'Mash and Peas Do USA'. Now that was weird comedy! Funny though, especially 'My Gay Dads' sketch.

Yes, and Reece was in Asylum with David and Matt even before that! And The Crazy Jonathons with David in 1997. They've known each other for years...

Do ya not think he's Herr Lippish at all? I think if you gave him a German accent he could be Herr Lipp's brother!

Surely Sir Bernard Chumley is the Herr Lipp copy, just as Margery = Pauline and the babysitter = Pop.
