Haha! Steady, VL! It wasn't that terrible!

Although punching Shakespeare in the chops in the name of school boys & girls for the next 500 years was a bit generalising. I was an avid Shakey-fangirl when I was in highschool.

But then again. I'm a dork. :D

It has to be II though. Tim McInnery as Percy! He was such a loveable twit.

Hahahahahaha!!! I'd forgotten about Greeeeeeeeeeeeen! Classic!

I really DO have to get the boxset. I only manage to see it from time to time when I'm with my Mum as I don't get sky and it's almost never repeated on BBC! Well, Blackadder the Third was on a while back, but not enough!!!

All I've got is the two blackadder videos we've had since I was 5.
Definitely got Green on it though.... I heart Percy.

*Reaches for the rotten tomatoes!*

Heh, nah, we'll let you off!

You're missing a real good treat (humph!) though, Blackadder's classic comedy at it's best!

Well, I would strongly suggest you watch it. If you find the words, "I have a cunning plan" even faintly amusing, then you'll love it!

I was thinking of getting a Box Set of Blackadder on import from USA - DVD set with all 5 series.

Series 1 is not as slick and well-structured as the rest but i sort of like it. The Witchsmeller Persuivant epsiode is ace as are Miriam Margoles as The Infanta and Jim Broadbent as her interpretator in The Queen of Spain's Beard make it worth a look. I also like the end episode pastiche of the Magnificent Seven. And it has some relevant clever in-jokes to scholars of medieval history like myself.

I'd like to big up Blackadders Christmas Carol too - Robbie Coltrane is fabby and the 'future' version is hilarious too. I love it.

Blackadder is another comedy that I love.I like all the series but I think I'll have to go with the second series as being my favourite. WOOF!

I few years ago I had to watch the final episode of Blackadder Goes Forth about 30 times in a too short a period of time and do a really long assignment about it. That was for GCSE English :? I can't watch that one anymore, it drives me mad!

I have all the episodes on video somewhere taped off the telly from years ago. I want to buy the dvd with all of them on it eventually though.
