wasn't sure if there was a post about this. anyway love the show, went to a very interesting recording of this last night. just before it started, Sean Lock, Alana Davies, Jimmy Carr and Rory Magraf were introduced on by Stephen Fry.... and someone decided to streak! it wasn't a pretty site at all. Jimmy carr ripped him to shreads. it was so funny.

actual recording was coolies, didn't notice this but in series 1 every word they talked about began with the letter A, series 2 B and series 3 (last night) was C.

Mr. fry (wow never seen him upclose but he's well tall)said it should be on in the autumn

I like this too. Thanks for the info!

What did Jimmy Carr say to the streaker bloke?
"How I feel in my mind
And how I live in the world
They are oceans apart"

he said "why are your bollocks longer than your cock?". not sure what the bloke said as he was being bundled off at the time.

I have so many reasons. Here are just a few of them:

He has the bare-faced cheek to compare himself to Mr. Wilde

He isn't witty ("Argh, yes, gyrating breasts!") does not constitute as wit. Paul Merton has at least ten times the wit that Mr Fry does, and when has Mr Merton ever got such adoration as Mr Fry gets.

He is arrogant, rude, sexist, e.t.c.

He said the best thing about 'a bit of Fry and Laurie' was that he got to slap Mr Laurie about.

He's a snob

He thinks he's had an 'interesting' life because he was in prison.

And he is generally not funny at all...

So as you can see, I really hate that Snob-c**k of a lard so very much.

Well, I think you've misunderstood him on quite a few levels there. But, hate does make the world go round, and I admire a man who's so detailed about his hatred of someone, so you carry on, Papalaz!

Possibly, but he really does just irritate me everytime I see him. I don't even know why that's the case...

I absolutely fecking LOVED Q.I when I first saw it. Unfortunatly, it was only ever aired while I was at work. :( & my video recorder didn't always do as it was told.

Is it out on DVD anywhere? I would buy it RIGHT NOW if someone can find it for me.

QI is the best! I've always adored Alan Davies since the Jonathan Creek days, and it's great to see him make a fool of himself on TV (slightly sadistic, but there you go  ). I've learned so much from that show, and it has such a variety of comedians on the panel that it can't be ignored. My personal favourites are Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand and Rich Hall.
Have any of you seen HaveI Got News For You? That's a good'un.
Paul Merton has at least ten times the wit that Mr Fry does
He's a genius, isn't he?

rich hall *beep* rules
No offence to Americans, but he's the only decent American comedian I've encountered.

Has anyone else seen Monkey Dust?

the thing with rich hall is that he comes across very british in his humour though he does use american/canadian references though.

Stephen Fry is a legend. in my opinion theres about 2 or 3 legends in the world, and he is one of them. Its such a good show, not is it only funny, but you learn someting aswell, you get 2 in 1.

Stephen Fry and alan Davies are really good of playing off against each other. :D
