Did anyone else just watch this? I was quite disappointed by it. There aren't nearly enough good female comedians out there at the moment (Julia "Nighty Night" Davis being my favourite right now), but this sketch show was just so... lame. All the gags were crude. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind, even like, crude humour but only if it's done well and this wasn't. The only bit that made me laugh was the part where the speakers came out her wheelchair, which was surprisingly funny, but the rest was just.... blah.

Maybe it was just, me but I nearly couldn't breathe for laughing at the bare bottomed knitters clambering over each other  . The rest was a bit mediochre and yes the sound system coming out of the wheelchair was quite hysterical  . Overall I like it :D .

The bare bottom knitters were good, as was the soundsystem and i quite like the "boring" maid. But other than that I found it a wee but frightening. Oh, the seepage woman was quite funny, but only when she said seepage.

They're filming this at the place I work at the moment. I wondered what it was!

When is it on?

I'm not sure when it's on, I think the first episode was just a pilot... hmmm

It seemed alot like smack the pony only a bit darker/weirder and not quite as funny to be honest.

I saw this, when I read the description it didn't sound too promising- soundedlike they were trying too hard to be 'dark'.

The onlysketch I actually laughed at was the French Maid/Nadia sound-a-like 'Don't watch me dusting...I'm so booooring dusting, don't watch me!' I really liked that. Bare-bummed knitters were*yaaaawn* Some bits from the female darts team were OK but overall disappointing.

My brother told me that on the BBC website they said it was like TLOG without the talent- though (if that's true) i think it's more like Little Britain without the talent as it's a sketch show and not really comparable to TLOG at all!

wasn't sure about this programme to start with the maid " don't look at me " was starting to annoy me but i'm sure she'll end up being my fave character by the end of the series .lol.the darts 1 is q. funny too , so r the knitting women and the woman in the wheel chair . it's looking good so far
"I've just come over a little queer"
"Ah yes, all come in my faceful"
"It's just a big bloody joke to you isnt it!"
"He's a very dangerous man he'll shit on you and set you on fire"
"Give me that you cycle of shit!"

Well seeing as this is coming back on TV I thought I'd ressurect the thread. I'm gonna give this one a chance as it *could* get better. The women in it are all decent enough and I have to chuckle at their advert...'Dontcha!'

That alone made me want to give it a second chance.
