Not sure if there was a shooting stars thread but this vic and bob one will do nicely
Taken from Chortle:
Eranu!
Shooting Stars back for Chrismas special
Eranu!
Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer are to bring back Shooting Stars for a one-off Christmas special, the BBC has confirmed.
Matt Lucas’s will also be back as scorer George Dawes, the ‘big baby’, in the BBC Two special.
Channel controller Roly Keating has also ordered a ‘best of’ compilation, featuring behind the scenes gossip and out-takes to celebrate15 years of the comedy quiz.
The BBC has not yet confirmed who the team captains or the panellists will be, although Russell Brand is rumoured to be taking part.
Shooting Stars, originally ran from 1993 and until 1997, and was revived in 2002, with Will Self taking over from Mark Lamarr as a team captain.\r\n
I am actually praying hard they release tickets for this to go along and watch it being recorded

I like Will Self but i prefer it when Mark Lamarr was on it. A bit of 50's throwback never hurt no one

Just to say, Bob was brilliant on Buzzcocks the other night. Him talking about his 'Monkey Trousers' Alligator restling had me in tears ' I was the one with me mouth taped up. I'm a *beep* mad man!"
I hope this Christmas 'Shooting Stars' actually happens, as it's looking more and more unlikely!

No-one has mentioned it for ages.
What, what??

Nothing has come up on the bbc site asking for an audience. Usually something like this would have been filmed by now.
Yes i agree about Bob the other night. It raised a huge smile on my face

They did put audience tickets up but I saw it too late and they were gone, so it's definitely happening

Ah excellent

Cheers for that Pam! Can't wait now. So there's at least one thing to look forward to at Christmas.
What, what??
