I saw it last night, and what can I say? I just absolutly loved it! It was everything I expected from the guys and much more, from the witty, sharp comedy to the references/homages that they always do so well. The action towards the end was just incredible and made me want to race out of the cinema and start a fake gun battle Spaced style :P

I'm still kinda in geeky/excited mode and just can't wait to see it again! There's so many fantastic quotes that I wish I could remember word for word that I will definatly be listening out closely for next time I go!

Oh, and when Danny is shot at the end and Nicholas is knelt beside him, who else was waiting for yellow paint to start running from his mouth?! :P

I went to see this today, I really enjoyed it :D
Too many lines to remember, but one of the best bits:
"Everyone and his mother has a gun in country"
"Like who?"
"Uh... farmers"
"And who else?"
"...... farmers mothers"

And I loved how at the end of the film the farmers mother appeared and started trying to shoot him

Also, did anyone else notice that in the supermarket when Danny was looking at the DVDs in the bargin bin, there was Shaun of the Dead? It was called Zombie Party though, but it had the same cover.

And I was waiting for the yellow paint too

Very very good. Slightly longer build up to the action but all good. I loved Oliva saying "Always good for a bit of girl on girl action" hee hee. I was on the edge of my seat for the gun fighting showdown in the square. Timothy Dalton was a very good baddie
Simon was looking absolutly divine as the very hot action packed cop. I have to go see this again.

oo and it had my fave gatueau in the world when he first turns up *dances*

I saw it for the second time on Friday and absolutely loved it, if I weren't so ill at the mo I would have already seen it for a 3rd time!

did anyone else spot the romeo and juilet poster in the newsagent?

Because the original stars have been murdered, it has those two they keep calling 'professional actors' on instead - genuis!

I just absolutely loved the two Andys I thought Rafe Spall and Paddy Considine stole it every time - and I'm just so happy that someone from my town (paddy) got in Hot Fuzz!

Its either when they buy cornettos the second time, or during the shoot out although I think its the cornetto bit

I only noticed it the 2nd time so it isn't too obvious, its weird just how much more I noticed just 2 days later! I can't wait to go a third time, I'm so glad I have my unlimited card!

The 2nd time I actually spent looking for all the references of their own work and others theres some rather subtle ones in shot composition that I quite liked!

Yay! Finally saw it!!!
And the magician's trailer. Looked out for you, despite not knowing what you look like! Ah well.

Hot Fuzz was fab. Loved the miniature village sequence, and poor Adam Buxton. :o :(

And Joe Cornish was in it too! With a mask on.
And TWO Bill Baileys! Ace.

Joe was one of the London people at the beginning, with Simon's ex girlfriend - they were all in white outfits and face masks at the crime scene. He was 'Bob'. He just said hello I think.
