yeah, same here. Still enjoying it but there is less laughs of late.
I hate Lily's dad....silly and useless story line.
The Lily Marshall house drama...who cares.

Did you see the one the other week with the party replayed from different rooms. Seriously? Just found it a tad boring to be honest. Barney keeps me smiling though.

I feel exactly the same way. It goes even more Whaaaaat?!,but then this last week's episode was pretty funny, I thought. They were back to their old shenanigans, which was oh so awesome to see. I hope they keep this up!

More house plot  Jeez, glad it looks like that is over at least. The idea of the drunk train still makes me giggle though. Still not overly "feeling it". Hoping the next part of the season gets better.

Have you got any of the latest season yet? If not, when is it expected? I'd love to hear your thoughts. =taps fingers impatiently= ;)

Not sure when it is here, might go searching for streaming options as I imagine it would be a few months at least.

In a word: Shiiiiiiiiiiite. ;)

I'm sick of all the pointless and repeated foreshadowing, for starters. It's not funny, it's no longer interesting, and it's being done absolutely to death. The subtle way in which they used foreshadowing in earlier series was lovely, giving us enough little hints to where we'd go, "Huh? What? Oh man, I NEED to know what that's about!" Now it's like they no longer trust us to remember things from one minute to the next. Yes! We get it! Barney and Robin get back together (again). Whoopdi-do! You can stop telling us now! Speaking of which, for them to THEN plant the idea that maybe they break up again...? Boring! They've been on again, off again so much (and not in a well-written way) that I no longer give a crap what happens with their relationship.

Honestly, I hope and pray that they're planning on making this season their last because I think it's gotten pretty dismal. There has been one funny episode, imho, so far all season. ONE! I makes me really sad.

Agree with everything you said. Only four eps in and kinda bored. Pretty gutted as I love the show. And is it just me or has the laughter track changed? It sounds really fake and extra canned.

Yes, will they won't they is pisses me off especially since it was obvious from the get go that it was those two getting together. And I know every season has me saying this but can we actually MEET the mother already. I want to see how they will get on once together.

Heh, last night was scheduled to be a new episode, but because of the horrible storm on the East coast, it was preempted. Not knowing this, I watched about the first five minutes of the episode before I realized it wasn't new. I remembered seeing everything before, but they have SO overused the flashforward material, I just assumed they were at it again, and was angrily shouting at my screen to shut up and move onto something interesting.

P.S., I'm tempted to stop watching, but I'm so invested now. Plus when they get it right, it's still a great show. It's just that it's more crap than great anymore.

Oh, and I think you're right about that last. Are they so bad that the studio audience isn't enough? :/

There has been a funny episode or two. At their best, though, they're as funny as the episodes that would have seemed mildly humorous in past seasons. It's very sad, really.
