I don't mind if it's cheap- stick Rimmer and Lister in a room together and have them go at it hammer and tongs. Comedy gold.

No so much comedy gold: big stupid ideas like having them visit Corrie.

For God's sake, just make The Last Human. Make it, make it. Make it now. The Red Dwarf books (and sort of novelisations) are hands down, the funniest books I have ever read. They are everything that is and was wonderful about Red Dwarf. The awful despair, the grottiness, the fantastic sc-fi concepts the one-liners the milking of every situation for its supreme funny.

Just start again from the beginning, with all the good bits from the books left in. Please.
Hello my darling it's me again. Where are you?

It could get funnier if we keep doing it.

Clearly why it is set on earth is because they haven't the budget to build sets and have CGI and stuff and did you see the

Starbug car :(

Please let this not be from the show proper but one of the other two episodes.

Robert Llywellen has been on twitter. So far he has been pleased as punch with the scripts but is not going to spoil anything for anyone, which is nice. The promo photo he also posted up looks pretty good too

WOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Good news (IMO) Red Dwarf:Back to Earth is now a trilogy! This sadly means the unplugged episode is delayed to a later date.

The DVD is released in June!

I think it is set round series 5 as Rimmer is a Hologram in this one and looking at his costume.

:D Loved the Smirk mode comment.

Kochanski is dead apparently. I can't see it being set before the last series. They will just be taking artistic license.

I don't have Dave but hopefully will be able to watch cos I'll be home for at least some of Easter weekend. (Getting measured for my bridesmaid dress for my bro's wedding!!)

Ooh also:

Scificollector.co.uk are delighted to announce that they are being joined by a number of Red Dwarf cast at the Memorabilia event this coming week in Hall 12 of the Birmingham NEC.

On Saturday March 28th, Craig Charles (Dave Lister), Robert Llewellyn (Kryten) and Angela Bruce (Deb Lister from Parallel Universe) will be in attendance from 9am signing a range of official merchandise, including some brand new images from the yet-to-be-seen episodes to be shown over the Easter weekend. What a coup! They'll also have a range of T-shirts, and other items of interest for the avid sci-fi fan.

And if you can't make it on the Saturday, Craig will also be around on Sunday, March 29th. What a trooper!

You can find out more at the Memorabilia website.
