Monkey Dust

It's quite clever, quite observational, but just ain't funny. It makes me quite depressed that Peter Baynham writes additional material for it. :?

Any other opinions?

The first series of Monkey Dust is fantastic, but the second was a major dissapointment sadly.

I've always thought Monkey Dust was crap. It seems to be all the staff who wrote for Weekending and The News Huddlines who were put out of work by Chris Morris and The League of Gentlemen trying to write comedy like Chris Morris and The League of Gentlemen but missing the point completely. And it looks good - which is a waste.

Exactly. However, Peter Baynham does write additional material for it, and he's co-written every show Chris Morris has done. Only additional material, though.

Additional material covers a multitude of sins though. It can range from an idea for a sketch or one line of dialogue to whole series of sketches. Peter Baynham used to write for Weekending so perhaps they nicked a few scribbles off his desk for Monkey Dust.

I thought the 2nd series was ok. Liar Clive was funny at least!

"Actually Clive, thats the plot of the hundred years war. Where have you really been?"

"I was trying to fill a bath with *beep*"
