I'm going and so is Deborah (gtjw), we couldn't miss the last night. I'm sure I've read somewhere on here that others are going.

Soz, sam. Even if someone were inclined to, we're not allowed to discuss illegal copying of things on the forum. Papa's rules.

We would never do illegal things or promote them on this site.
What you do via PMS or emails or MSN etc... is entirely up to you however *grins*

I know hun.... but all I meant was that maybe, somewhere... there might be a copy floating a round. And just as long as we don't promote it..... then go go find it! (then send to me)

The Last Night of The Producers...

Postby Geoff Tipps' Joke Writer » Sun Jan 07, 2007 2:37 pm

Aaah, its all over

I was lucky enough to see the last two performances of The Producers at Theatre Royal Drury Lane yesterday & I'm feeling quite sad this morning... :(

The matinee was great fun with the cast adding bits to the script...and then the last ever performance of the show at Drury Lane, well it got very emotional by the end.

The audience cheered every song & there were plenty of rounds of applause during the show too - Reece's blue blanket scene, Cory's falling behind the settee when Leo asks 'How much do we put in?' (Cory was desperately trying to make Reece laugh & he succeeded) & lots of other parts of the show too.

There was total standing ovation by the whole audience at the end. I had mixed emotions watching it - happy and sad. When Reece was singing 'Til Him' I felt quite tearful...

I learnt from the conductor that about half the cast are going up with the show to Manchester. Cory will be in it still & John Gordon Sinclair (who played Leo before Reece) will be returning to the show. Peter Kay is playing Roger De Bris - think it will make it a completely different show in lots of ways...

Who else was at the last night?
