Heylo!
I did a search for this, but it didn't come up with anything. So I started one. :D

I've always been a big fan of Vic 'n' Bob, along with my sister. We ALWAYS watched this show in the early 90's. We loved it! She was about 13 & I was around 6.  But we waited for it everyweek & we taped them all.
& Anyway, not long after the series finished, the tapes we had went missing & we didn't see them again. :( Until now that is. Me & my Mum were doing some closet cleaning to try & find some old christmas decorations & we found the tapes! God knows how they ended up in there!
So anyway, nearly 13 years on, me & my sis are sat watching them, pissing ourselves laughing together yet again... It feels so weird, but I remember it all so much. We watched it so constantly, I was brainwashed.

Anyway, to start the conversation off, what was your favourite song out of the ones they performed?
I liked "Cool, Cool Air!" *clicks fingers* & Maybe "Get up, get up, get out of bed!" *sings* Don't you worry about yer Bulbous Head!

& Just to make me feel better, did or does anyone fancy Bob? I used to, but I was only 6, so I guess it doesn't count...

Of COURSE I fancied Bob, he was a hot young whippersnapper back then!
They were (and are!) both very sexy.

I've found some old videos of the show in charity shops, but I don't have it all. I didn't have the foresight to tape it when it was on.

P.S. Nice signature!!!!!!!!!

Agreed! :D But Bob was definately somethin' else in those days...& he has kept more or less the same. Along with Vic (or Jim, whatever he likes to be called... ).

If you fancy seeing it again, I think I saw it lying about that UKNova website. :) I was going to download it, but then I found the tapes, which I thought was abit freaky, but hey-ho...

P.S. Nice signature!!!

Thank you very much! It's lovely isn't it? hehe. SailorEarth made it for me. *bows down to SE* She does good work! :D

She's a GENIUS, I tell you!

I love finding old videotapes with fabulous stuff on that you didn't know you had!

I downloaded some Vic and Bob from that site recently, but I can't remember what it was. Now where did I put it....

Does anyone remember the whole sketch advert about the edible tights??

I still quote that quite a lot!

"Bu-bu-bu-butterscotch!!"
"P-p-p-p-p-Pork pie!!"

I used to really love the Smell of... Can you buy it on DVD?

No, for some stupid, daft & outrageous reason. It has never been released on DVD. But you can still get the tapes of it. I think Ebay & places like that still have some. :D

That was the "Smell of", hun... :)

They are mad aren't they? I can't remember Bang Bang very well. If I saw it again I probably would, but not from memory. :(

We need a DVD. Twas brilliant, better than Big Night Out IMHO (though I did like that too before you lynch me) and that's had a DVD release!

So, c'mon, lets get signing & you never know!

*fingers crossed* :D
