Oh so jealous! You must tell us how it is and whether they did indeed get rid of the lovely Scottish accents (although it will make me cry if they did).

Burrito, you lucky person, you must report back here as soon as you've seen it and let us know how it is. Am so curious to hear about how this film is in English. :)

well, my highly considered critical opinion is...
it's really good.
Gory, sweary, bloody and funny as hell! Great cast, too- it was like playing 'spot the voice'.
And no, they didn't get rid of the scottish accents thank *god*!
Could've done with more from the Gentlemen though. Steve was the only one who had enough lines to recognise his voice.

finally some news on this Peeps :D
thepressassociaton wrote:English/Norwegian co-production Free Jimmy has taken a while to get a UK release, but the animated yarn should finally hit UK cinemas in September.

It follows the story of four low life anti-heroes: Gaz (voiced by ex-EastEnder Phil Daniels), Roy Arnie (Woody Harrelson), Odd (Simon Pegg) and Flea (Jay Simpson).

They are uprooted from the mean city streets to work with Ringmaster Stromowski (Jim Broadbent) in a touring Russian circus.

Other actors lending their dulcet tones to the project include David Tennant, Reece Shearsmith, Mark Gatiss, Steve Pemberton, Kris Marshall and Douglas Henshall

Fans of The Bill may also recognise Lisa Maxwell's vocal talents.

The actress, better known as DS Samantha Nixon, has also been working on The Power Of The Dark Crystal, a long-awaited animated follow-up to Jim Henson's 1983 classic, The Dark Crystal.

Maxwell provided the voice of elfin heroine Jen in that movie, and is reprising the role for the 2009 sequel.

I'm not really bothered about stuff if you can't actually see them! I wouldn't care if all these animated films had unknowns voicing them. Although this is some pretty special people I suppose! TENNANT TONES! :D
I've got M.E. I'm really tired!!

I was just having a look at my local cinema website and it's finally been released! It's been a while, I didn't think it would ever come out but here it is! :)
